EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Since 2017, our methodology for developing young people has been based on activities that promote learning through practical experiences, starting from real situations. The strategy is to invest in concise and high-quality training so that program beneficiaries become agents of transformative change.
Our main goal is to broaden the teenagers’ perspectives on vocation, skills, and interests, as well as connect them to trends in the world of work and society. We work to develop creative and proactive young people who are the protagonists of their own stories.
Overall, the program spans three years and includes mentoring and employability, providing teenagers with the support of a professional to help them navigate their initial challenges in the job market.
TO ACHIEVE THESE RESULTS, THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IS BASED ON SIX MAIN PILLARS:
DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOPS
Provides learning through project management, using real problems as a starting point, to prepare teenagers for the reality of the world of work.
LIFE PLAN
Encourages reflection on personal and professional dreams by setting goals to achieve them and choosing a career path.
SUPPORT WORKSHOPS
Supports the development of soft and cognitive skills and abilities, as well as raising educational levels in Portuguese, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Technology, and skills, among others.
VOCATIONAL COURSE
Based on the Life Plan designed in the first year of the Program, the teenager begins their vocational training at leading schools in their area of interest, fully funded by Reciclar.
MENTORING
Connects experienced professionals with teenagers benefited by Reciclar, helping them to face the challenges of entering the job market through the development of relevant soft skills for this new phase of life.
EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Facilitates the placement of students or recent graduates into the job market through partner companies in roles that match their vocational training.
VOCATIONAL COURSE + MENTORING
Near the end of their vocational training, the teenager continues the Mentoring program.
EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
