HOW WE WORK
Since 2017, our youth training methodology has been based on activities that promote hands-on learning based on real situations. The strategy is to invest in concise and quality training so that those assisted by the Program become changemakers.
Our main objective is to broaden the vision of young people about vocation, skills and interests, in addition to connecting them to trends in the work world and life in society. We work to train creative, proactive young people who are the protagonists of their own stories.
In total, the Program is developed in three years, including mentoring and employability, which provides young people with the assistance of a professional to support them in the first job market challenges.
TO ACHIEVE THESE RESULTS, THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IS BASED ON SIX MAIN PILLARS:
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS WORKSHOPS
It provides learning through project management, taking real problems as a starting point, with the aim of training young people within the reality of the world of work.
Life Project
It stimulates reflection on personal and professional dreams by setting goals to achieve them and choosing a career to follow.
Support Workshops
They promote the development of socio-emotional and cognitive skills and abilities, as well as raising educational levels in Portuguese, English, mathematics, logical thinking, technology, audiovisual, among others.
VOCATIONAL COURSE
Based on the life project drawn up in the first year of the program, young people begin their technical training at leading schools in their area of interest, fully funded by Reciclar.
MENTORING
It connects experienced professionals to the young people assisted by Reciclar, supporting young people to face the challenges of entering the job market through the development of relevant soft skills for this new phase of life.
EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
It allows the inclusion of the student or recent graduate in the labor market, through the net of partner companies we match the young students’ profiles, technical course taken and vacancies.

CREATIVE SOLUTIONS WORKSHOPS
It provides learning through project management, taking the real problems of the community as a starting point, with the aim of bringing young people closer to the reality of the world of work.
LIFE PROJECT
Young people are encouraged to reflect on what they want in life, including the career they want to follow. With the support of educators, the participant begins to outline its personal and professional plans.
SUPPORT WORKSHOPS
Activities designed to develop new skills for young people and improve their knowledge in Portuguese, mathematics, technology, audiovisual, English and special activities, always with practical experiences.
VOCATIONAL COURSE
Based on the Life Project designed in the first year of the Program, young people begin their technical training in reference schools, in their area of interest, fully funded by Reciclar.
MENTORING
We promote the connection of the participant with experienced professionals. The mentor will support the beneficiary in his professional choices and challenges, through a self-knowledge platform developed by Reciclar.
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS WORKSHOPS
The participant continues its practical learning by developing new projects at Workshops.
LIFE PROJECT
New issues and challenges, especially related to entering the job market, are discussed in the Life Project Workshop.
SUPPORT WORKSHOPS
The workshops contribute to young people’ continuous training , ensuring good performance in their vocational course.
VOCATIONAL COURSE + MENTORING
Closer to concluding the technical training at the vocational school, the young person continues the Mentoring program.
EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Reciclar connects young people to opportunities in the job market, which welcomes engaged, collaborative, critical and responsible professionals.

COVERAGE AREA
Our headquarters is in Jaguaré, and where our activities take place. The neighborhood is located on the west side of São Paulo city. The region was chosen due to the high degree of vulnerability and existing social risk, in addition to population concentration.
Since 2017, we have expanded our area of operation and started to serve young people from different public schools in São Paulo city.
